Name: Coach L.C. Dupree a.k.a. Shane Lauder
Shane Lauder is an award winning percussionist with over a quarter a century of experience. He is self taught and self determined. Rare is the musician who doesn’t find his skills to be a perfect compliment to their body of art. He does more than just keep the beat. He possesses the ability to manipulate the energy and the very essence of the composition. Less ability or skill, but more akin to a gift from beyond that enbodies something more than technique, method, or style.
It is hard to say if he is working as a conduit or a conductor. There seems to be an unearthly connection in which neither Lauder, nor the the spirit seem to be navigating. It all seems to appear as a very natural event, where spectators and musicians are invited to jump on the back of some wild creature. Lauder seems to be holding the beast by the mane hairs and squeezing it’s ribs a bit. His hand is held out to all who will accept the invitation to an unforgettable journey into a world entirely outside their own.
